Immigration: Himes on Resolution 990; implies his support for open borders.
Last week, Jim Himes abstained from voting for House Resolution 990. This resolution was passed by majorities in the House. This resolution supports efforts of all federal agencies, state law enforcement and military personnel who bring law and order to our Nation's borders. In my view, his vote implies his support for open borders and shows that he is unable to cross party lines even when it comes to supporting the right cause. Despite his lack of support, this resolution passed easily in the House 244-35.
